Kimberly Michelle Holloway, 59, departed this earthly realm on December 24, 2023. She was born and raised in Providence, Rhode Island to the late Walter Best Jr, and the late Louedell Holloway. For the past 22 years she resided in Massachusetts. She will be extremely missed by her 6 children Rashon, Kenneth, Marquita, Bry’Dell, Davonte’, and Jeffrey Holloway. She also is known as Nanna to her 6 Grandchildren: Shon’Del, Kyla, ShaNyiah, Ray’Von, ZaKari, and Lilah’Rae, with a seventh on the way. Additionally her 2 great granddaughters, Za’Myiah affectionately known as “Tink Tink” & Xy’Ree affectionately known as “Chocolate” will also miss her. She now joins her three sisters and one brother, Wertley, Eugenia, Constance and Talmadge Ray. Leaving behind three sisters, Millicent Holloway, Michelle Grundy, and Adean Britto. Also, a Goddaughter Arva Goddard and Godson Adrian Britto, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and aunts. In ten words let it be understood - Kimberly had a heart of gold with a fire spirit. She warmed the hearts and lives of many. She was the glue that held the family together. The person who will go out of their way for you. If she doesn’t have it she would work on getting it. She thoroughly enjoyed getting her drink on with her family and friends at all family functions, and loved all around just having a good time and being all right with herself. That is what she represented and that’s what family was to her. She always wanted to keep the peace and happiness amongst the family. Through life‘s trials and tribulations her compassion, strength and resilience came through. Her “cut up” and ability to give freely was one of her attributes. While she may no longer be with us in the flesh, her heart imprint will forever have its lasting effect on all who were graced with her presence. Her favorite line was… ” I am who I am”. She will be deeply missed and remembered for her unwavering love she had for her family and friends. May her soul rest in eternal peace.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 2nd 2024 from 3-5:30pm in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave. Lincoln. Burial Private.
